Bangkok, Thailand: CI Media, a social enterprise in Thailand, announces the launch of CI Talks, an online social impact video streaming platform, to help young people open their minds and inspire them to take action and grow by delivering curated content created by celebrities and experts in their field.
With the significant economic, social and psychological pressures brought about by the worldwide pandemic and economic recession especially impacting people in the college, university and early career demographic, CI Media Co., Ltd., was initiated by co-founders Fred Mouawad and Jennifer Paweensuda Saetan-Drouin to serve as a catalyst for personal growth and new perspectives for the younger generation to counter the challenges brought about by the current environment.
CI Talks which stands for “Catalytic Inspiration Talks” is a new initiative in Thailand that provides video talks hosted by local celebrities and experts, in the form of cinematic pre-recorded videos and interactive virtual workshops via its online education platform. CI Talks sets itself apart from other platforms that provide online courses by carefully selecting and inviting only the most renowned expert and celebrity coaches to share their real-life experiences and knowledge, complemented by high production values and engaging content. Beyond following pre-recorded video classes online, viewers will also have the opportunity to attend online and offline workshops, as well as other in-person events where they can personally interact with the coach.
CI Talks co-founder Jennifer Paweensuda Saetan-Drouin, also known by her Thai nickname Fahsai, is spearheading this project as the first prominent host and coach on the training platform. Raised in Canada and now living in Thailand, she has an impressive track record as a TV host and DJ and holds multiple titles in international beauty pageants, including Miss Universe Thailand 2019, and hopes her personal journey can affect significant change in the lives of others.
“It is our aim to provide mind-shifting ideas that inspire and catalyze personal growth among our viewers. We want to help them grow as individuals, so they can make a positive impact on the lives of those around them. Our hope is that giving young people the chance to learn directly from their idols will accelerate their learning and motivate them to make the world a better place,” says Paweensuda Saetan-Drouin.
Fellow co-founder Fred Mouawad brings his experience as a seasoned entrepreneur to seed and scale CI Talks. As the Chairman and CEO of the Synergia One Group of Companies, he has founded several companies in several industries and countries and is also the Fourth Generation Co-Guardian of his family jewelry business “Mouawad”.
“By launching CI Talks (our streaming platform), we want to create an accessible global education platform that connects young people to charismatic coaches and leaders who can inspire them to reach their full potential. It’s a social enterprise that will equip viewers with frameworks that can catalyze their growth and maximize their contribution to society,” says Fred Mouawad.
The launch of CI Talks comes at a time when career paths and opportunities are changing rapidly. New professions are emerging regularly and employers are increasingly looking for and valuing soft skills such as flexibility, resilience, active learning and the desire to continuously build new skills. CI Talks’ combination of cinematic-style pre-recorded educational video content and interactive workshops hosted by coach leaders, have been designed to inspire viewers to take action and grow whilst having a positive impact on those around them in today’s challenging and dynamic environment.
